I was born and raised in Northeast Indiana and first discovered my interest in art after sneaking into my big brother's room, at the age of 5, to copy drawings he had done of old World War II fighter planes. I really enjoyed it... not the sneaking in part but the drawing part. Not only did I enjoy it, but I discovered I was pretty good at it and kept drawing. At the same time I discovered I was pretty good at building stuff too. I just kept drawing and building, went to college to major in art, graduated in 1994, and slowly but surely I was able to make a career out of doing what I love to do most... which is designing and building anything and everything I can for the entertainment industry.
Now I spend most of my creative energies as a production designer and concept artist. I started really flexing my creative talents over ten years ago as an art directer for theatre and live entertainment and have now begun doing production design for motion pictures.
